Web Development
Your website is the one marketing asset you actually own. Everything else; search rankings, ad accounts, social reach, is rented from a platform that can change the rules on you. I build fast, reliable WordPress sites in Elementor and Oxygen that load quickly, read properly on a phone, and make the next step obvious.
Most small business sites fail on the unglamorous things: speed, structure, and a clear path to enquiry. I settle the structure first, because how a site is organised decides what search engines and AI assistants can do with it later, then design around it. When it's finished it's handed over documented, in your name, and easy to run without me.
WordPress builds in Elementor & Oxygen

Core Web Vitals, page speed and mobile performance
Accessibility and clean, semantic markup
Hosting, security and a documented handover
E-Commerce
Selling online is a system, not a website. Product data, checkout, payments, shipping rules, tax, stock levels and the emails that fire when something goes wrong all have to agree with each other. I set the whole thing up, connect it to how you actually operate, and keep it selling.
The money in e-commerce usually isn't in more traffic. It's in the gap between add-to-cart and paid. So the first place I look is your checkout, your product pages, and the follow-up that goes to people who left something behind — the three fixes that tend to pay for themselves fastest.
WooCommerce and Shopify store builds
Payments, shipping and tax configuration
Product, inventory and order workflows
Checkout and product-page conversion work
Abandoned-cart and post-purchase email
WordPress Website Maintenance
A WordPress site left alone for six months is a security incident waiting to happen. Plugins drift out of date, backups quietly stop running, and the first you hear about any of it is a customer telling you the site is down — or worse, that their browser is warning them away from it.
Maintenance is the cheapest insurance you will buy. Updates get tested before they go near your live site, backups are stored off-site and restored from time to time to prove they actually work, and uptime and speed are watched rather than assumed. Small content changes get done the week you ask, not the month after.
Core, theme and plugin updates, tested first
Daily off-site backups with tested restores
Security monitoring, firewall and malware scanning
Uptime and page-speed monitoring
Small content changes, and a monthly note on what was done
SEO & AEO
Being found used to mean ranking on Google. It still does — but a growing share of your buyers now ask ChatGPT, Gemini or an AI Overview first and never see a results page at all. Answer engine optimization is about being the source those answers get built from.
The work underneath is the same discipline it has always been, done properly: a site structure crawlers can read, pages that answer the questions people actually type, clean technical signals, and a Google Business Profile that wins the local pack. What changes is the reporting — I tell you what moved and what it did to enquiries, not just where you rank.
Technical SEO: crawlability, schema and site speed
Keyword and question research from real search data
Answer-engine optimization (AEO) for AI search
Local SEO and Google Business Profile
Monthly reporting tied to enquiries, not just rankings
Digital Strategy
Strategy is mostly deciding what not to do. Before anything gets built or spent, I look at what you are running now, what your competitors are actually doing rather than claiming, and where your buyers make the decision — then tell you what to fix first and what can safely wait a year.
You get it in writing: a roadmap in priority order, a budget split across channels, and the numbers we have agreed to judge it by. That includes the parts I don't sell. If the honest answer is that your problem is pricing, or how fast you return calls, rather than marketing, I would rather tell you that than take the retainer.
Audit of your site, search visibility and current spend
Competitor and market research
Channel and budget allocation
A prioritized roadmap, with the reasoning
Conversion tracking and analytics set up properly
Social Media
Social works when it is consistent and aimed at people who could plausibly buy from you. Most small business accounts die of neglect — a burst of posts, then silence, then an awkward restart six months later that tells anyone checking you out exactly how the last six months went.
